How we work

Picking what works.

A short note on what we do, and what we won't.

We don't build new AI tools. We bring you the right ones — configured for the work your team actually does.

You've probably tried both. The big firms won't quote under half a million. The freelancers have one skill, not the four you need. We exist to serve what's in between — operations like yours.

Our discipline is design — applied to the tools your team actually uses, not the slides about them. The right pieces, in the right order, set up around the way your team works. Value-first. Tools second. The deliverable is your team running on a working set of tools, not a strategy memo.

  1. Off-the-shelf, not from scratch.

Building AI from scratch is a five-year project. The tools that work today already exist. Our job is picking the right ones for your business, in the right order, and setting them up around the way your team works. Building from scratch is where projects die.

  2. Value-first. Tools second.

What we care about is the work running faster — the person who gets their week back, the deliverable that ships without retyping anything, the system that runs whether anyone's watching it. AI is one of the pieces that makes the rest possible.

  3. We work in thirty-day blocks.

Less and we can't build something useful. More and the work expands to fill the calendar. Thirty days keeps things focused and your team engaged.

  4. What we build has to outlive us.

If your team can't run, extend, and modify it without us on day thirty-one, we built the wrong thing. Documentation, training, and clean handoff aren't optional. They're the floor.

  5. Where time is being spent on routine work.

Every operation has the same shape. A partner, doctor, or attorney doing structured work that should run by itself. We find that seam, rebuild it, and give them their week back.

Every engagement starts with an X-ray week — one week, $7,500, written diagnosis and proposal. If you continue, that fee is credited toward whatever comes next. From there, most engagements run as a 30-day Sprint at $32,500 (one workflow, fixed scope) or a 3-month Integration starting at $75,000 (multiple processes, scoped in the proposal). For businesses we've already worked with, we offer an ongoing Embed: one day a week on the team.

We run a small number of engagements at a time on purpose. The engagement starts when the calendar opens, not when the contract is signed.
